Starting Active Cart

The main active cart fields continually display when using the shopping cart: Customer, Product, and Quantity. The system disables the Customer field. All additional items added to the cart are applied to an order using that customer.

Starting an active shopping cart:

1. Enter your search criteria in the Customer, Product, and Quantity fields and click Add to Cart. The Quantity field defaults to 1 if left blank.
2. From the list that matched your criteria, select the customer and product you want to add and click Start Cart.

The order information displays in a shopping cart. The Customer, Product, and Quantity fields remain at the top of the screen. The system displays the customer name, but it is not editable once the cart has been started.

3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 to add additional items to the shopping cart.
