Viewing Product Details
Review product information, such as part numbers, status, availability by branch, and customer-specific pricing. To view product details, search for a product, and then review the following fields and features:
- Description - The product name, along with details that help users differentiate it from similar products.
- Product ID - The Eclipse internal product ID number for this product.
- Status - The current inventory status of this product, such as stock or nonstock.
- Availability - This section of the page shows the product's availability by branch and includes the following columns:
- Brch - The branch number.
- Avail - The quantity available at the branch.
- UOM - The selling unit of measure.
- 'Show All Branches' link - Click this link to show the product's availability at other branches. Only branches that you are authorized to order from display.
- Get Pricing for Customer - To get pricing on this product for a specific customer, enter the customer name in the Customer field and then click Get Price. If more than one customer matches the text you entered in the Customer field, select the customer when prompted, and then click Get Price to display product pricing on the Quick Price page.
- Unit of Measure - This section of the page shows the product's unit of measure information and includes the following columns:
- UOM - Units of measure for the product, such as ea (each) or bx (box).
- OUM Quantity - The number of individual items for the unit of measure; for example, for bx (box) it might be 12.
- UOM Type - The type, or types, of transactions for which this unit of measure is used; for example, "S" indicates that this is the unit of measure used for selling. More
- Index Type - Indicates whether the product is a stock item indexed in the primary
product file, or a nonstock item available for order from the vendor catalog.
- Price Line - The price line to which the product belongs. A price line represents all of the products that are priced together by a particular vendor. More
- Buy Line - The buy line to which the product belongs. A buy line represents all of the products that are purchased together from a particular vendor. More
