Viewing Customer Records
Customer records identify customer-specific details such as freight, credit specifications, and detailed pricing information.
What do you want to do?
Note: All links on the Customer page are active and launch the appropriate applications when clicked. For example, if you click an email address, then the system displays your email application with that address listed in the To: field.
The customer page displays the following information:
- Customer Name - The customer's name as you want it to appear on all transactions and documents. More
- Address - This field displays one of the following:
- If this is the bill-to address, this is the address to which to send correspondence.
- If this is the ship-to address, this is the address to which to send product shipments.
- City - The customer's city of address.
- State - The customer's state of address.
- Zip - The customer's zip code.
- Country - The customer's country of address.
- URL - The customer's web site address. If this is underlined, then it is a link and when clicked launches the URL defined.
- Company E-mail Information - The e-mail addresses you can use to contact representatives of this company. If this is underlined, then it is a link and when clicked launches an email addressed to the person defined.
- Company Phone Numbers - The phone numbers that you can use to contact representatives of this company. If these are underlined, then they are links and when one is clicked the phone number is dialed.
- Bill To Name - If this is a ship-to customer, this is the customer's bill-to record name. The bill-to customer record must already exist.
- Customer Type - The type of customer, such as bill-to or ship-to. More
- Outside Sales (person) - The default outside salesperson for this customer.
- Inside Sales (person) - The default inside salesperson for this customer.
- Dflt (Default) Ship Via - The default method of shipment for this customer, such as Our Truck.
- Freight In Exempt - Yes indicates that the customer is exempt from incoming freight charges; No indicates that the customer is not exempt.
- Freight Out Exempt - Yes indicates that the customer is exempt from outgoing freight charges; No indicates that the customer is not exempt.
